Good, cheap knives?

So, it's been so long since I flipped seriously that I don't want to risk dropping my BM42 and breaking the tip off. Anyone know of a sub $50 knife that gets the job done. Doesn't have to be great, adjustable hinges would be wonderful, but not necessary. I want to stick close to the 4.2oz in the BM42, doesn't have to be sharp, or it could be a trainer. I'm not really picky there. Just don't want one of those flea market knives that break after about 10 minutes.

Put it this way, the last time I flipped seriously was around the time the Bradley Kimura came out.

Re: Good, cheap knives?

if you have already a bm 42 or other bm knives there should be no problem to practice and compete and flipping
but if you search for a sheap balisong don't go too low of price cause like you said it wil break directly :s
a good alternatif are the balisongs from "bear and son" they are about 34 dollars and 60 dollars and the quallity for that price is just great !!

Your best bet would probably be a bear ops b200 or b400 to stay in that weight range, but those are between $50 and 100. They probably won't compare to the bm quality, but nothing under $100 will

MTech Twist ($20-30) with new pivots ($2) would be an even cheaper solution. Good flipper under $35 total.

Re: Good, cheap knives?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Figured there would be something to fill that lower price gap by now. Guess I may as well just use the BM42, haha. May end up getting something else, but I just figure if I'm going to spend $100 on a knife I may as well save it and spend $200 on a GOOD knife.
