CHUX THREAD!!!

i still havent gotten chuxs yet. the only place i know where to get them around here would be the flea market and im a bit hesitent on buying cheap ones since i dont know much about chuxs i wasnt sure if like with knives cheap ones are bad or quality issues and stuff like that. plus i havent had time to stop at the flea market since i always work when its opened.

well if ur looking for good priced great chux, go for lee bardens pro chux. i have 3 pair, and i love them, the strings a little shorter than most chux, but it gives them more control. the thrashers are $30 and he'll ship them anywhere

hey logan, what are the dimensions of your standard chucks? handle length, diameter, and chain/rope length?

not sure i know the handle length is 12" mine have five chain links which fits over the back of my hand accross the knuckles 4- 5" length wise as for thickness
bout the same thickness as a broom handle.
You buying or goin down the diy path dude.

sorry to whore up the thread guys, but i had some time to kill tonite, so i threw these together with what i had left of paracord. they still arent completely finished, but they should be in the next few days, depending on how much time i have to dick around with.



now i just need the time and space to do some practicing, as its supposed to be like -25 or so tomorrow....

they feel pretty light to me, which for now is probably good.....lol i wish the fuckin snow would go away so i could see how well they work. just fuckin around in the house, they seem ok, but i cant really try anything crazy in here. i think i should probably also wear an old pair of glasses till i get the hang of this shit.....lol

oh yeah, they are 12.5" long, three passes of paracord, and the length of the para cord is the width of my knuckles. for got to measure the diameter, but they are about double the diameter of the typical small broom handle. they feel pretty decent in the hand.

Those are sweet droop. I would have believed it if you said you bought
them from a local martial arts shop. Did you come up with the design
yourself or are there some tutorials somewhere on how to do that?
