The 51 has been flipped more but is also in good condition. Some anodizing on the pocket clip is rubbed off. The blade has a couple scratches, but it's sharpened and the pivots are loc-tited. None of the wear affects flipping nor keeps it from being a beautiful knife.

I understand your desire to get a 42, I've been looking for one myself. Your asking prices on those two knives is just too high. I bought my 51 for $171 shipped and the K-VI sells for $90 at gpknives.com. Why would someone pay the same practically the same price for lightly-used ones? A trade might work out for you, but I don't think anyone is going to offer you those cash prices.

Well if i'm looking at the pictures right the 51 looks like the black blade model which would make that a decently reasonable price.
