Re: AA on JD.
The sad part is that he will probably actually get that much for it.
Re: AA on JD.
J, didn't you pay that much for a korth panther?

Re: AA on JD.
Liu Kang just sold a similar one for much less than that. If that fucking guy gets that much money I will be surprised. AAs aren't that uncommon.
Could be worse...I could be on the short bus with the other donut punchers.

It's not that a bali can't be worth that much. It's just that I don't think an AA is.
From what limited info I could find on the korth, I bought a one used for what they used to cost new. Neither horrible nor fantastic deal imo, average considering that they're hard to find.
The AA used to sell for $170, but had msrp of around $280. The only thing that really sets it apart from the BM42 price wise is that fewer AA's were made. $350 just seems way too high for that particular knife unless you're trying to complete some sort of collection.
If the AA included IKBS and S30V steel instead of whatever proprietary mystery alloy they use (Carbon V, not sure what that is) then it might be worth it. I'm kind of biased against cold steel though, so don't take it from me. And since it sold, it's apparently worth that much to someone out there.
